Founded by friends (and always welcoming more), we have made it our mission to provide the best dispensary experience for all who visit- from first time smokers to long-term tokers, and everyone in between. Our flagship dispensary in Ashby is located on scenic RT 31, close to many local hiking trails, and impossible to miss due to the colorful Volkswagen parked out front, which we affectionately call “the Bug”.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to helping our customers understand and appreciate the power of the plant. We stock a huge variety of accessories, apparel, and novelty items, and meticulously curate our menu, which is displayed in a unique and informative trading-card-style format.
Besides the goods and services, we are all about the vibe. United Cultivation’s dispensaries are unpretentious, welcoming spaces where our customers can feel at home.

Welcome to our Cultivation Department, where we blend expertise with cutting-edge techniques to produce the finest cannabis. Our team is led by David Macklin Jr., a seasoned grower with over 20 years of experience, who has honed his craft from 2018 to 2020 on his own farm in Trinity County, located in the Emerald Triangle of Northern California. David is particularly skilled in managing all facets of cultivation. Including crop steering and ensuring VPD levels are in optimal range to ensure optimal growth conditions for our plants.
Supporting David are Pat Kennedy and William Hayden, both of whom bring unique skills and enthusiasm to our operations. Pat, a Bentley University alum, is our integrated pest management and meticulous canopy management specialist. His strategic approach ensures that our crops are protected and thriving under the best possible conditions.
William, a University of Colorado graduate, focuses on irrigation and nutrient management. His meticulous attention to detail in these areas ensures that our plants receive the precise nutrients and hydration they need to flourish, utilizing advanced auto irrigation hydroponic systems to maximize efficiency and plant health.
Together, David, Pat, and William form a dedicated team committed to excellence in every aspect of cultivation. Their combined expertise and passion drive our success and help us maintain the high standards we set for our products.
